Haslet

Haslet is a savoury meat loaf recipe from Derbyshire. It can be served hot, or cold as a sandwich filling.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb minced pork
  • 5 oz breadcrumbs
  • 5 oz finely chopped onions
  • 2 teaspoons chopped sage
  • 1 teaspoon mace
  • Seasoning

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly
  2. Bake uncovered in a well greased loaf tin for 1 hour
  3. Serve hot or cold
